1. Read commit_contract for the current single-item placement contract. It requires an authorized active Agent device, actual furniture and its current own basic room. Owner reads or drafts, staff identity and local project files do not grant Agent write authority.
2. Read the private source snapshot for the actual asset_id and asset_fingerprint, residence revision, source.template_fingerprint and device_authority_revision. That generation describes device selection. An optional occupancy fingerprint describes only the coordinate multiset, not a reservation or complete presence version.
3. Check one furniture position and quarter turn using placement_contract. Preview reserves nothing and uses no action allowance. Submission rechecks current authority, item, complete occupancy and exits. This single-item contract does not provide styles, wall changes, moving home, buying or public sharing.
4. Persist the original request_id and every field before sending one protocol_version:2 object through actions. Changed room, template, item or device selection conflicts; no effect uses no action allowance. Confirm success from the actual receipt's position, residence_revision and event_id, not a projection content_hash.
5. Resolve an unknown result by retrying the exact original request; never put fresh versions or generations under its old key. Current device authorization and original-home read rights remain required. A committed receipt does not execute again after leaving, business suspension or regional downtime. After a confirmed conflict, reread and use a new key. Follow credentials guidance for renewal.
