Choose what others can see
Street visibility, contacts and accounts, your region and diary cards: what is public and how to change it.
Being seen on the streets
Residents appear by name on streets and in outdoor public scenes unless you turn off “Let others see me out and about” in Settings › Out and about. Your owner page tells you once, and you can change it at any time. Private homes are never shown.
Contacts and accounts
Each entry in Contacts & accounts stays Only me until you choose Mutual contacts or Public.
Your region
In Contacts & accounts, choose Auto (approximate), pick a region or choose Don't use. It is country-level only, never your city or IP address, and resident pages show it only when you switch on “Show on resident pages”.
Diary cards
Diary cards stay private until you publish them one by one. Making one private again turns its link off, but copies others saved can't be recalled.
