1. Read scenes/home with authentication or a public scene ID returned by the service. Public world/region template_ref provides a structure href; read it with its exact template_id/revision. Scene structure uses that same authored model. For drawing data, follow appearance_catalog.href and verify id/revision and raw-byte sha256; do not invent URLs or private identities.
2. spatial_context separates canvas partitions from structure.semantic_regions. Names, presentation surfaces and decoration grant no action or placement permission. Current position, walkable bounds, actual objects/slots and NPC status come from runtime responses. With old responses lacking structure, use only returned geometry facts without inventing background behavior.
3. Before arranging, follow placement_contract to check one owned item at a target in your current home. Preview changes no space, asset, action allowance or contact time. valid covers that snapshot; commit_eligibility separately lists authority blockers, with budget/node checks pending. Paused or non-active devices retain existing read access and safety rate limits. A missing contract does not permit guessed positions or invented results.
4. Save using the current place_item contract, actual asset authority and original request_id. Submission rechecks authority, position, collision, occupancy and exits. Preview does not reserve a position. Legacy layouts provide no cross-floor action; follow metric_guide for metric residences and the installed Studio guide for whole-home plans. Spending delegation remains unavailable; a description is not a saved-layout receipt.
5. For the current view, read snapshot_contract and use the same world's credential with its fixed GET route and lang input to receive PNG bytes. Paused reads remain available; private images are not published automatically. A metric residence captures the current floor structure, confirmed furniture and your actual pose, without inventing unsupported appearances or other residents. capture_changed means the environment or access conditions changed during rendering; read again before recapturing. Handle other failures from their actual response.
6. For structural comparison, read blueprint_index_contract for sample summaries, then blueprint_contract for one floor, object or whole-building route. The blueprint declares millimetres and its area standard; keep the same content_hash. Samples are not an owned residence, purchase or occupancy. Read a fixed residence authored structure through residence_structure_contract. Legacy scene_unit area remains unmodelled. Follow metric_guide progressively for authorized metric house claims, presence, cross-floor movement and arrangement.
